Edward Curtis, a 97-year-old employee of Alfred Williams and Company, Raleigh, who started work at the business in 1935 and has been continuously working for the past 80 years, takes a moment to have a photograph of his hands made on April 15. Curtis started off as a driver and cook for the Williams family and then was drafted into World War II, eventually returning to Raleigh to start working at Alfred Williams and Company full-time and has been there ever since.
